The Nitty Gritty

Running Around to Find Toilet Paper is not Exercise

Being cooped up inside with limited activity is not good for your physical or mental health. Getting moving can help decrease anxiety and increase your brain function. But given our current quarantine lifestyle, you may have to be a little creative with your fitness routine.

One option is to take advantage of the many online fitness programs that are temporarily offering free or discounted access:

Cardio:

  • 305 Fitness – Fun, free, dance cardio workouts

When selecting from one of these options, don’t forget to read the time frames for free access. Depending on the app you may be limited to the number of days access will be free.

If nothing else, go for a long walk outdoors in a location that allows you to follow social distancing guidelines. Your stress doesn’t stand a chance against activity and fresh air.
